Steven Chodoriwsky is a designer, artist, and educator. His research-based practice employs a diverse range of media including installation, text, performance, and audio-visual artifacts. Concurrent to Cal Poly, Chodoriwsky also teaches Interior Architecture at Woodbury University. Previously, he taught at Cornell University, and at the University at Buffalo, SUNY, where he was the 2016-17 Peter Reyner Banham Fellow. As a visual artist and researcher, he has held research positions at the Jan van Eyck Academie, The Netherlands, and at the Center for Contemporary Art, Kitakyushu, Japan. He was educated at the University of Waterloo, Canada, at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, as a recipient of the multi-year Monbukagakusho Government of Japan scholarship.
