Carme Pinós- Recipient of the 2016 Neutra Award for Professional Excellence

Spanish architect Carme Pinós will be the first woman to receive the Neutra Award for Professional Excellence, the annual honor bestowed to groundbreaking practitioners by the College of Environmental Design and Department of Architecture. The award ceremony and a special lecture will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, at the University Theatre (Bldg. 25) at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. 

Past honorees include former U.S. Vice President Al Gore; Pritzker Architecture Prize winners Renzo Piano, Thom Mayne and Tadao Ando; and SCI-ARC founding member Michael Rotondi.
