Children with Special Health Care Needs: Technology-Assisted Children
Developed through the Utah Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (Emergency Medical Services for Children "EMSC" Program) and Primary Children's Medical Center, The Department of Visual Communications and Educational Support -Clinical Education Services, and the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. A grant of $40,000 was awarded to create a book that identifies educational objectives and guidelines for prehospital personnel who are challenged with providing emergency care for technology-assisted children. This publication has been recognized in both the medical and visual communication fields, and includes companion videos and education slides.
