LA 2111L Final review: Heart of LA (HOLA)

Date/Time:
Friday, December 7, 2018 - 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Presentation Description:

The studio investigation is an entry landscape sequence to the HOLA Campus’ new Arts and Recreation Center - A new 25,000 square foot building, that consists of modular structures built from single-use shipping containers, converted into music and activity rooms, community rooms, and creative lab spaces. The building is equipped with green roofs, solar and several stacked roof decks for students. The HOLA studio envisions a series of spaces for students to gather within, and to be experienced on a journey, with an intentioned relationship to the new building physically, socially and environmentally.
