Dr. Delgado is a Professor of Urban and Regional Planning and is a co-director of the California Center for Land and Water Stewardship (CCLAWS).

Prior to joining the faculty at Cal Poly Pomona in 2006, Dr. Delgado taught at the University of Redlands, UC Irvine, and California State University, Northridge, where she also served as the Director of Community Service Learning. Dr. Delgado is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, a former Planning Director, and current President of the Southern California Planning Congress. She holds a Bachelors of Art degree from UCLA in Art (graphic design option), a Bachelors and Masters degree in Design from the University of Paris, and the professional Master of Architecture degree and PhD from UC Berkeley.
