Joyce is a landscape artist who has looked to the incredibly spatial, spiritual, and richly colorful vistas of California, Hawaii, and the Southwest of America for her inspirations.

Professor David Hylton teaches graphic design and illustration. He is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist. He has created designs and illustrations for such clients as Mattel, Boy London and the City of Cerritos.

Ray Kampf, tenured Professor at CalPoly Pomona, is also a Communication Designer. His training allows him to concentrate on what the message is, and the best way to convey it.

Professor Crystal Yachin Lee teaches a broad range of graphic design courses in the Art Department. Prior to joining Cal Poly Pomona, Professor Lee worked in the Washington D.C. area specializing in environmental graphic design for museum exhibitions.

Babette Mayor is an artist, graphic designer, and educator. During her tenure at Cal Poly Pomona, Ms. Mayor has received the Academic Program's Award for Outstanding Faculty Advisor, and the Dean's Award for Outstanding Faculty.

Alison Pearlman is a writer and educator. Her career hatched in the field of art history, at the University of Chicago. In 1997, Pearlman earned her Ph.D. with Honors from the Department of Art History. In 2003, the University of Chicago Press published her first book.

Ann Phong was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and has settled down in Southern California since 1982.

Chari Pradel is an art historian specialized in Asian art history (India, Korea and Japan). She is a tenured Professor in the Department of Art at Cal Poly Pomona. Her research focuses on Japanese religious art and ritual from the seventh through the thirteenth centuries.

Dr. Wendy Slatkin received her PhD degree from the University of Pennsylvania, in the field of late 19th and 20th century French painting and sculpture. Her dissertation topic was Aristide Maillol in the 1890s.

Karlyn Griffith is Associate Professor of Art History. Her research focuses on the interplay of sacred and secular visual imagery in medieval culture and the reuse of Roman materials in medieval architecture.
