Ray has 29 years of experience in Landscape Architecture practice, and is an accomplished designer. He is originally from the East Coast but has resided in Southern California for the last 16 years.  Ray has practiced across the United States at seven firms, in six states and internationally; including in China, Japan, and South America. He has a wide array of built project experience.  Ray’s project experience spans all scales and scopes; from hospitality, commercial, campus/institutional, parks and new communities and towns to urban design for cities and regions. Ray’s sensitivity to people has provided him with lasting relationships with past and present colleagues and students.

Ray has brought this experience into teaching and has taught at the university level for 5 years. He teaches landscape architecture at Cal Poly Pomona, MiraCosta College and UCLA Ext.  He has taught planting design, digital and hand graphics, lectured at the undergraduate and graduate level and numerous design studios - centered in Philadelphia, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. Ray has been a guest speaker for the San Diego ASLA Lecture Series and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects; receiving an honor award for his work.
