An ardent gardener and builder working to translate a passion for ecologically conscious food-systems into the medium of landscape architecture. With an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from University of California Santa Barbara, where I studied the intersections of diet and the environment, my landscaping imperatives are informed by a perspective that urban food production offers an ideal vehicle for positive social and ecological change. Formerly, the principle and founder of culinary landscaping company: Eden Landscape Design LLC and currently in the employ of California’s largest urban farming venture: Farmscape Gardens LLC, I have been working professionally in small-scale food production/landscape construction for the last four years. Pursuing my master’s degree in landscape architecture, I hope to be further equipped with the tools and skills necessary to foster a wholesome and nourishing connection between my clients and their land. Holding an intention of operating my own design/build firm, I am committed to design imperatives celebrating bounty, beauty and community.
